The game of the week in the Serie A will be between Lazio and AC Milan; the two clubs will face each other at the Stadio Olimpico. Lazio enters the game as surprising league leaders, alongside Inter and Roma, after 3 games. The team led by Gennaro Gattuso was knocked out by Mantova (0-2) in the Coppa Italia prior to the start of the Serie A season, leading many to expect the former AC Milan club captain to be the first to get sacked this season. The most important player for I Biancocelesti has been Davide Frattesi who came over from Inter on loan in mid-August; since his arrival he made an immediate impact scoring in all three games so far. AC Milan is still unbeaten (2W, 1D) but it has not been convincing yet. The side has struggled under new manager Ruben Amorim who still uses his (in)famous formation. Rossoneri have mostly looked unconvincing offensively, last week being a prime example of that after only having three shots against Juventus. All eyes will of course be on Gonçalo Ramos, who joined for a record breaking fee of €74M from PSG. He has currently scored one goal in three games, despite having numerous good chances already to score more. Lazio will be missing Rovella, Marušić, Pellegrini, Cataldi, Dele-Bashiru, and Patric who are all set to return later this month or early October. AC Milan will have to miss Gabbia and new signing Mario Gila, who came over from Lazio this summer.
