Unbeaten in the last 3 now, definitely been getting better performances and a clean sheet is a great achievement too. Bit of luck Ferdy Druijf skied his penalty early in the game though. Feels a matter of time before Monserrate among others make some minutes for the first team, hes been a incredible player so far. Players like Nash, Ünüvar, and Pugno surely will get their opportunities too. I feel Jordi Cruijff his goal to make Jong Ajax more competitive with foreign talent as well has been a huge help so far. These young guys really need to show they are capable, or perhaps they have the same fate as Eternal Barron who has been let go this past week lmao. Wanna add that Almere is fucking dirty though (just like the city itself haha), proper elbow to a Ajax player that wouldve been a red with VAR, also one of them trying to pick up a Ajax player who was laying on the ground. They acted like the children while playing against.. well supposedly the children.

Player of the match

Alejandro Monserrate
