EKSTRAKLASA IS BACK! Honestly very fun match, both teams with a good amount of chances to go ahead (along with some terrible mistakes) to make for a quintessential ekstraklasa match. Highlight for me was around the 10th minute when the ball was on the goal line and the Legia player decided to use his arm to put it into the back of the net. Legia definitely the better team today and certainly deserved the win, but Pogon's attack was quite effective as well. Very unfortunate to lose to a stoppage time winner like that but given how many chances Legia had a 1-0 loss is not the end of the world. A decent game, quite some chances and Pogon got away very often, the way they conceded in the last minute was diabolical though 😭😭. Pogon had chances themselves too but couldn’t finish. Deserved to lose because Legia had around 3 xG which is just insane. Happy Ekstraklasa is back, one of the more entertaining ‘smaller’ leagues in Europe. Man of the match Hindrich i guess, 4 saves and important for Legia. Vinagre and Deziel Jr. did good too though.

Even though the game ended 1-0 with a scrappy and smash and grab of a 96th minute winner from Legia, this was one of the more entertaining close games that I saw from recent memory. The keepers were easily the best players on the pitch tonight, keeping their teams in the game till the very end to have any sort of fighting chance at all. Other than them, Vinagre and Deziel Jr. (Legia) and Borges (Pogon) impressed me the most.
