This morning I went for a walk around a park and I went to the beach. I am in a seaside town and it is wonderfully quiet as the summer holidays have not yet begun. I have had a great day and this match was a cherry on top. Japan function excellently as a unit and are a joy to watch. Brazil's display was twice as exciting. Their individual brilliance and flair was on display all throughout the game as it always is. The winner was a clear example of this. I find this result therefore gives me a lot of hope for the state of football. I believe that creativity is what should come to the surface at the highest level of competition. Japan played an excellent game tonight but Brazil have got stars of which can come up with moments, and those moments were on display tonight. We love Gabriel Martinelli.

This is Yoshi Kawaguchi. He is commonly regarded as one of the worst players to play for Portsmouth football club. He was a Japanese goalkeeper who was believed to be a solely PR signing for Portsmouth. Spare a thought for Yoshi tonight, as this season he has watched Gabriel Martinelli score a total FOUR goals past Portsmouth and Japan respectively.

Had to take a minute to make sure that what’s just happened was real and I wasnt dreaming I have many words to put into this review and I’d like to stay by firstly saying FUCK EVERYONE THAT DOUBTED HIM. Secondly he’s the goat, he’s a legend, he’s an icon, he’s the best Brazilian player ever, he’s the greatest to ever kick a football, he’s king, he’s maestro, he’s world class, he’s an all timer, he’s him. Scored the fastest knockout winner in regular time too #GOAT Don’t know if anybody knows this but he’s actualy my favourite player too!!! Obviously motm
