To give an early goal away like that is so poor. Russell simply has to just clear the ball ANYWHERE else although i don't think Lewis helped by not coming out to the ball. We really really really need to stop playing Blake-Tracy at centre-back and putting Deji at RCB because it simply doesn't work and the fact FBT is horrible when playing in the back three. I thought in the first half we actually played quite well or at least the last 15/20 minutes of it. Second half was pathetic we just worse and worse while they got better and better. Lots of players are lacking sharpness and we are in desperate need of a left wing-back because as much as i love Stephen McLaughlin we need to upgrade on him. I thought the referee gave a lot of soft fouls but i'm not blaming that performance on bad officiating we were just poor. I do have a soft spot for Sheffield United so best of luck to them for the rest of the season.

Following the sad news of Gus’s departure this is about the best we could hope for today. It is league one opposition and its easy to get carried away but this game really has proved to us that despite missing gus and brooks we have a great base especially in our midfield in defence. With some smart signing as well as a certain Australian🇦🇺 we could actually do decent this season. Particular highlights for the game today i have sydie peck and joe rothwell who commanded the midfield the whole game, Arblaster also looked fresh when he came on. Cooper looked almost back to his best as well which is a great great thing as on his day hes the best keeper in the league. Overall better then I expected before turning it on. Onto the league now, UTB ⚔️
