Following the sad news of Gus’s departure this is about the best we could hope for today. It is league one opposition and its easy to get carried away but this game really has proved to us that despite missing gus and brooks we have a great base especially in our midfield in defence. With some smart signing as well as a certain Australian🇦🇺 we could actually do decent this season. Particular highlights for the game today i have sydie peck and joe rothwell who commanded the midfield the whole game, Arblaster also looked fresh when he came on. Cooper looked almost back to his best as well which is a great great thing as on his day hes the best keeper in the league. Overall better then I expected before turning it on.
