miserable derby day in the ruhr. köln scoring 2 absolute screamers including one from el mala, with his run of form i’m very sure gladbach regret letting him go. i have little hope in gladbach for this season and we’re surely getting relegated but im here for better or worse (definitely worse).

as a neutral (who was rooting more for gladbach), this was another very entertaining match of this traditional derby. köln was stronger in the match but even gladbach had their moments. there was definitely some improvement from gladbach but they really need to use their chances. yet, if they keep on playing like this, i can see gladbach finally getting their first points.

> ruhrderby > volley to score the opening game > kopfball as an equalizer > el mala banger 2-1 > südkurve exploding in excitement with pyrotechnik > match interrupted (twice) because the gladbach stands were breaking the glass wall this match is TRULY alysa liu approved

A bit of an unlucky game. We had some chances at the end and I think the second goal from Köln was a foul, but nothing we can do. A bad start doesn't mean a bad finish. Keep going, guys
