and so, just like that, it ends. 104 games. staying up until the sun rises to watch our beautiful sport, because we all know these moments would never come back. last minute goals, heartbreak, triumph, relief, pain, and so many other emotions we all went through this past month; watching it with all of you made it all the more special. i don’t think my vocal chords will recover any time soon, but i wouldn’t trade it for anything. and what a world cup this has been. this is not just a game. it’s a language, a bond, a medium we all share. it doesn’t matter where you’re from, we all become united through this game called football. as beautiful as it was, the world cup is always a time to reflect on those who are no longer with us. we all carry the memories of the people who should have been sitting beside us, enjoying this tournament; this belongs to them just as much as it does to us. thank you for sharing your passion with me. now, we can all finally rest.

The world cup final is over. This tournament has been incredible, and this community has made it far more enjoyable. Thank you to everyone who has played a part in this incredible community. I have loved posting my penguin GIF throughout the tournament. Thank you for making posting a short clip of a penguin kicking a ball infront of a second tier spanish side's badge special. I was born in Sutton on October 7th, 2006. Just under two years later my brother was born, and a year after that we moved to South-West London, where I have lived ever since. I may not be a Castellon fan, but I am an Arsenal fan, like my brother and my parents. We sit and watch all of the matches together, unless we're at the Emirates. I was introduced to Bookd by my brother. I saw him talking on this app and it looked intriguing, so I asked him what the app was, and I downloaded it. Thank you, @elz , for introducing me to Bookd. I found the penguin GIF simply by typing "football" into the GIFs tab. I am unable to recreate this. Perhaps it was fate that I found that GIF. I am 19 years old, and entering the second year of my Games Design university course at my University in central london. I have always had a passion for games. I hope to one day unite my passions for game creation and for football. Ah, the Men’s World Cup final, perhaps i will keep my review short this time. All 104 games watched, happy with that. I love watching this Spain side, it’s boring for most, but to me this is one of the most beautiful ways of playing football. The way they confidently pass the ball around with no fear, despite this being the biggest game for every single one of them, is just amazing. Really unfortunate to have Licha get injured, one of the best players of Argentina this tournament and so important for them. Spain had Argentina by their throats though for the first 45 minutes. 0 shots, 0 shots on target, no chances created, blah blah blah a lot of zeros for Argentina in the first half lmao. Really high intensity from a defensive perspective though of Argentina. Second half was more of the same, quite some chances for Spain but everything being shot straight at Dibu. Ref was really in control of the game though, he deserves his praises as well. What a way to fuck it up though from Enzo Fernandez, incredibly stupid challenge when you’re already on a yellow. Actual idiot. Great save from Dibu in the last minute though, good game from him. After 90 minutes 15 shots to 0 shots lmao. Argentina the first team to have 0 shots in 90 minutes of a World Cup final. Disallowed goal was weird, I’d probably agree with the ref but it was a bit weak. Weird Eric García and Zubimendi got subbed on, both had made 0 minutes all tournament. What a shot from Ferran Torres, all the slander this tournament but he does it when it matters most, incredible. Man of the match has to be Pau Cubarsí, insane performance and only 19. Lastly i really want to thank everyone who have liked my long ass reviews the past month and the kind words too, genuinely means a lot to me to be able to say everything i have to say about games and people actually reading that all ❤️❤️❤️. there is something so magical about football something in the way football strings its unique emotions, something in the way football relates us, something in the way football seeds these ridiculous dreams we sacrifice our bodies and souls for, something in the way football reflects the human experience's beautiful intricacies, something in the way football feels more human than anything else in the world football is the thing in my life that has made me feel the most human, dream the most, relate the most... and to have found a community of beautiful people who feel the same about football and to watch the tournament emulating that something magical about football together... it's a dream. it means the world. thank you all of you for being on bookd this world cup 💚

I love you all so much Bookd nation, horrible way to end this World Cup but we’ve had a lot of great moments together, @toni and @olivia, thanks for making my mornings better and to all my Arsenal boys and what not, Mikel merino is a world champ, celebrate and drink it in, VAMOS ESPANA and we still love you Leo❤️
