Temwa Chawinga… what a player. I will be rooting for Malawi for the rest of the tournament.
Tuned in for the second half because i had to finish watching Lion King first, decent half, quite enjoyable. Silly red from Malawi though, so unnecessary to make it more difficult for yourself. Luckily for them they have the Chawinga sisters so even with 10 they were honestly better. Ref giving a pen last minute and VAR overturning it was dumb, it was a clear handball but whatever Malawi already won anyway. Good for Egypt i suppose because now they only conceded 9 goals in two games, they are unbelievably fucked 😭 Temwa easily woman of the match she was great.
Better performance but not good enough. We need a better goalkeeper. Not to be mean but she’s just not good enough
We lost, we got eliminated from the wafcon but i cried when we scored that one goal idgaf my girls tried more this time and that’s what matters to me. I hope we can start taking women’s football more seriously in our country now. My woman of the match is Mahira idgaf.
