Absolute scenes this game, 3 teams on 6 points so it went to head to head. Malawi thought they were out and Zambia thought they were in, even the commentators thought so, Barbra Banda smiling with her woman of the match award and everything 😭😭 Sad Zambia is out though, but Malawi with the Chawinga sisters is a joy to have in the knockouts as well.

Malawi has been a joy to watch through the group stages so I'm glad they're through to the knockout stages. However, I did like Zambia so I wish they also could've gone through but unfortunately that's football

I think Malawi are my fav team at this wafcon, both of the matches I’ve seen them play in have been so entertaining and this match especially had me so on edge, probably because both sides were playing so well. Reaching the quarter finals in their first ever wafcon is really impressive and I’m really pleased for them even though it was a shame to see them lose this match lol and it was a shame Zambia couldn’t go through as they were fantastic too. Also I’m kind of obsessed with the Chaŵinga sisters

This game was stressing me out 😭 Zambia was dominating the first half and Malawi played better the second it was such a good game. CAF needs to do better and explain the rules properly to the players and the audience. The Zambian team thinking they are through (even the commentator kept saying that) was just cruel. Anyway, group C (besides Egypt) was genuinely the most interesting and talented group in the whole WAFCON tournament so far… I’m sad Zambia is out now but Malawi and Nigeria are good teams too so good luck to them in their next games.
