harvey barnes and malick thiaw are two very very good players. they’re in my top 5 non arsenal/feyenoord players for sure. WBA did good in fairness. gotta feel sorry for Lewis Hall, very very good player with two unfortunate penalties given against him but sadly both were deserved. glad that it didn’t cost newcastle a win this time

Newcastle unable to score normal goals so they end up scoring the most ugly goals ever, absolutely incredible how awful Newcastle is though. At least Steur looks decent, good player.

5 stars because we got through- awful refereeing by Bobby Madley!! Steur and Dedic class again, seem to have unearthed some gems there. New signing Nico Gonzales was paraded before kick off too and seemed to love the reception. Barnes with 2 goals after he came on too- incredible finisher. Another Lewis Hall foul gave another penalty away, unlucky again. Through to the next round of the cup- Millwall away!

1H - Baggies are actually halfway decent at moving the ball. Touré looked a little unsure of himself and wasn’t working with Hall on the left. All level on a goal that may or may not have been OG. Is it me or does Nick Pope save the free kick to equalize? 2H - Woltamade playing way too deep, another poor concession after taking the lead but Barnes will tear you apart again. That Sean Steur has some motor on him.
