Bayern München hosts Bodø/Glimt to start their UEFA Champions League campaign for the 2026/2027 season. The club captain Patrick Berg also had a short spell away from his childhood club, after having played only 6 months at RC Lens before returning. Glimt will go into this with confidence, as they are 20 games unbeaten — including a strong qualifying run against Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise and Dutch side NEC Nijmegen — with their last loss being on May 4th against Molde (0-1). Most notably scoring 32 goals in their last 10 matches. No matter which way this fixture goes, it will surely be a spectacle.
