First half almost made me switch games but 5 goals in the second half made it worth and I got my prediction right 🙏🏼 2 own goals a pen and a Guirassy with a hattrick. This match genuinely had it all.

Idk man I’m still not convinced, very important result of course but sometimes the players just look so unmotivated, especially today after the Karetsas injury. It was a very boring and slow-paced first half and then the second half had all the goals, quite similar to the Dortmund-Villareal game last season tbh. I really liked Joey Veerman, I think he gives us this important defensive stability while being crucial in our build-up play. Fabio Silva was so good after getting subbed into the game and he could’ve definitely scored a goal. Overall I don’t think it was too bad and I don’t want to complain a lot, we just have to learn to play good in both halves and not only one. Good result tho and hopefully this season we’ll finally get into the top 8. Btw it’s insane how many people were in the chat, this normally doesn’t happen for Dortmund games and I don’t think it will ever happen again 💔

Huge result for Dortmund, started off so slow especially this first half it really felt like a typical 0-0 maybe 1-0 type game. Awful for Karetsas to get injured, i do really hope its not a bad injury but it doesn’t look good. Dortmund their 1-0 was so scrappy, one of the worst own goals youll see. Villarreal did come back but a Guirassy brace got the win for Dortmund. Late goal did make it tense for a few minutes but ut wasn’t enough. Never in my life did i think this game would have 5 goals, it was an incredibly poor game from both teams but sometimes you dont need to play well to score i guess lmao. Fabio Silva played great today as substitute, together with Sabitzer honestly one of the better players.

Everyone and their momma knew this would be a high scoring game and they were right. Guirassy is a chaos merchant and I love him for that. Goals and own goals for him. Villarreal didn’t look awful but they didn’t look good either. As usual I’m harping on Dortmund needs to be better defensively but it feels like beating a dead horse they will never improve it.
