PSV Eindhoven1 - 1Shakhtar Donetsk

Other than ruining my parlay. This was a very good game not very attractive but it was very structured and disciplined from both sides, which u did not expect. PSV lacked that attacking prowes with their only goal being dest not being man marked at the right place at the right time. Shaktar’s defending was so good. Referee was a little questionable both linesman and the head ref were awful. But other than that beautiful structured football enjoyed every single bit. A lot of promising players from both teams with Mendoza and Van Bommel for me. Pepi i heard was good but just did not show up for this match for PSV missed a golden crossing opportunity should’ve taken it one touch instead of killing the ball in front of the keeper. Perisic still kinda got it ngl. Other than that good footy.

Shakhtar Donetsk
Real Madrid2 - 1Inter

Good game, 1st half inter did not deserve to go 2-0 down completely dominated the ball but our pressing was very good, led by 2 because of it and maybe because of the shit mistakes Martinez made tryna cruyff turn when hes literally wearing gloves just kick it out mate😭. Inter although getting the goal at the second half significantly played shittier at the latter parts of the game in which we started to gain control but still not enough. I kinda like trent in midfield definitely not something new but definitely experimental but I still think guler needs the nod in the middle of the park. As much as I hate on huijsen he was actually really good this match. Nothing else we did not really perform I just think we just really capitalized at certain moments of the game still not enough tho as we missed so many opportunities probably 2-3 including the one with brahim. In the end we need to control games better and be much more clinical on the counter. Overall good game good show. We go again.

Pretty boring game. Not much to analyze its just who has the ace up their sleeve every possession type of game. Very well taken goal by Marin. Might sign him in FC haha (I just recently learned he played for ajax before)

Arsenal: On paper Arsenal are on a 4-2-3-1 On attack that becomes a 3-3-4 with rice as a semi pivot. I say semi because he come back and defend to make a backline of 3. Calafiori becomes a falseback and drives towards the box when after linking with Miles and Odegaard is given freedom in the final third as well as Havertz and Saka switching positions ever so often to make creative runs also led to the first Arsenal goal. Ben White on the overlap and on the left side Tzolis waits for passes and upon receiving he crosses creates space. At times they look like a 2-2-1-5 they overload the box with Calafiori being the late run. This was seen on the second goal where calafiori made a run upon Tzolis’ cross only for it the bamboozle the defenders with a clever play from havertz to leave it for Odegaards run as he has all the freedom. After making it 2-1 a 5-2-3 formation came on defense along side bringing on fresh legs of zubimendi and hincapé often overloading the ball side which works because of the 5 at the back. But the same goes for the same attack only odegaard playing deeper but with the same freedom to go forward for zubimendi to take his role upfront. Hincapé takes the role of calafiori but only on certain situations. Much more defensive. Chelsea: Also very fun to analyze this side. Very innovative from Xabi on paper they start 3-4-2-1 but transitions to a 4-2-4 compressed when defending and a 3-3-1-3 that “1” is palmer often starting deeper than usual and Rogers transitions into a winger. James from the midfield line drops down to the back 3 while wingbacks either join the midfield or leave Lavia and alone with palmer in to make runs forward whenever neto or rogers get hold of the ball. But in the second half palmer left the deeper role duties to James and Malo Gusto in midfield while the wingbacks make lesser runs forward to compromise Palmer being further up the pitch being a AM. Continued in commentss~

What a thriller. Back and forth action from both sides. My comprehensive analysis/review: Rashford looked scary but i dont think starting him without a pure blooded number 9 like Sesko is practical. Starting cunha was kinda horror. He is still in the mindset where he is the main man just like he was at wolves. Wouldve wanted to see rashy cut inside but what is stopping him from doing that is Cunha. Why? If Sesko started he wouldve been inside the box more much more positional. Cunha kinda plays an advanced forward archetype. That means he sits on either on the edge of the d on the build up or inside the box but never central. Rashford was good just needed someone on the end of his attacks. Mbuemo frustrated me in the first half. Very lazy on the runs and lacked a little tenacity in taking his man on. But that manily happened because whenever the ball got channeled to Cunha it takes him a while to release or never passes to mbuemo always central looking for the one-two. However on the second half Mbuemo switched to 2nd gear and got the goal. Good performance Good goal. The middle of the park for Man U was good especially with mainoo’s wall passes and Bruno’s attacking threat makes it a very good combination along side Yuri who plays a more of a holding role. No comments for the defense except for the fullbacks where dalot and shaw has been great in making chances and mixing well with their respective wingers Now Everton: I said it before the match that george and drewsberry hall would lead that everton side and they did certainly. Drewsberry hall deffo got involved in the attack more with garner and Armstrong to hold it down the middle of the park and defend first whenever they lose the ball. Barry was good missed a few sitters George (Evil Saka) was amazing looked very dangerous althrough got the goal and Ainsley returning from france securing the draw makes it a very incredible performance for Everton. 1/2

Good game from both sides, i just think that betis got a little lucky with the goal. Mbappe has had the worst finishing night of his current season. Guler was amazing, definitely caused a lot of problems along side vini on the wing. Jude was a little quiet expected more from his attacking but defensively he has been good as ever, a proper work horse. This game he was just being pressed and marked heavily which made him a little static in the final third. Konate and Huijsen’s partnership is very good. I prefer it over rudiger and huijsen. Huijsen is a very good this game. Reminded me of Sergio Ramos at times with ball carrying and passing. Valverde was alright definitely took the much more fixed and disciplined role in this game. Pretty sure JM wanted someone more positional but i just dont think fede is the perfect fit for that yet. Room to improve but definitely held down the midfield at times Bernardo shouldve started over camavinga I dont mind Dumfries starting over trent as long as Bernardo and Guler starts together, i think it kills a little bit of creativity not utilizing TAA. Cucu was good nothing else. 3 scoring opportunities (probs more) but mainly 3 wasted. Pure shittery. Disappointed. Gutted. Kudos Betis to valles, bellerin, natan, barta, parrot played very good Played very well. Madrid is almost there just needs to be a little bit kore clinical in the final third and the box. Mbappe off night, its good happens to everyone And we need to control the midfield better thats why i think Bernardo and Guler should start together to mimic a bit of kroos and modric action while Valverde plays the Casemiro role. (Edit: wouldve given this game a 3.5 stars if i wasnt a madrid fan)

Good win, 3-0 at half time so i just stopped watching. Points to be taken from watching the first half: •Trent was good but not amazing, needed someone to get the end to his crosses and as the game went on he kinda got a little scared and reduced his risk in making those crosses numerically. •Vini Was a little quiet he had a few chances but didn’t really get to make anything out of it. •the backline Rudiger was good, cucu was doing his job, trent was good but needs to pass like before all he does is get the ball on the final third and pass back. huijsen was a little horror •Fede and Cama Fede was good was very cohesive in transitioning from the backline to the midfield and as well as nicking the balls at the edge of the box at times. Cama was ok recovered possession but passing decision got a little sloppy with the amount of bad passes he made. •Brahim ✌️😭 what does he even do •Kylian Good goal, good performance and looked scary in attack. The only problem is that his attitude is still the laziest when it comes to defending. There was this one play where we lost the ball and instead of tracking back… head down. •Jude Amazing just pure class. Pops up at the right times, transitions the defense to attack, carries the ball into dangerous areas, his first goal was class his second might have been luck but id call it smart for his timing. Hes just amazing. True leader he should have the armband not fede.

Actual dogshit for missing out on points again. Conceded from a shitty scrapy corner is just not acceptable. Kroupi is definitely missed up top. Rayan needs to be more clinical. Tavernier is inconsistent as ever Cook was ok, Antonio, Evanilson, Petrovich did good and Scott was just amazing. Definitely controlled the game at times and was miles ahead of everyone in the pitch. For everton, that was lucky but clinical from the captain to eek out a draw at the dying minutes. Who ever the fuck that george guy was hes ass and ndiaye was ok i mean trash I MEAN THE WHOLE TEAM WAS TRASH SO FUCKING LUCKY

Newcastle2 - 2Liverpool

Now this was a thriller, liverpool came back against a very well put NEWCASTLE (Wissa) side, isak was very disappointing lucky to have gotten a draw with Newcastle’s lack of defensive discipline

Newcastle
Liverpool2 - 2Nott'm Forest

Liverpool pretty much controlled the game but couldn’t capitalize on the chances given, NFO was good on the counter very lucky with the penalty given. Victor Munoz after switching wings with Rio both of them got exponentially better. Nothing else left to say except Liverpool’s defense mainly frimpong and jaquet needs to settle in faster to adapt to the new gaffer. Frimpong was horror😭

Liverpool
Man City2 - 1Bournemouth

I love bournemouth and I wanted them to win, summer signings have been great but man cherki is just different gravy. Definitely missing kroupi up top
