Switzerland4 - 1Bosnia & Herzegovina
one star match until about 70 minutes in, from there an absolute delight. Swiss are a good side, should have been with 6 points at this point
Switzerland
England4 - 2Croatia
Great 3rd quarter by England
England
Portugal1 - 1Congo DR
Congo will be kicking themselves for not winning this. And as much as I'd love to bash Ronaldo, this is on Martinez (not new) - going up against a team who'll defend all match without dribbles on the wing to start is criminal. Similar to Spain vs Cape Verde
Congo DR
South Korea2 - 1Czech Republic
Impressive from South Korea. Czechs have set pieces and not much else.
Mexico2 - 0South Africa
The least violent 3-red card match ever (think only the first 1 was an actual red). Mexico felt like they could have sealed it much earlier, but paced themselves at times. South Afrifca seemed very poor
Mexico
Freiburg0 - 3Aston Villa
Felt bad for Freiburg. They played the "right" way, if there is such a thing, for about 30 minutes, but it didn't matter when the difference in player quality kicked in. Great goals by Villa regardless.
Aston Villa
Juventus1 - 1Hellas Verona
Not quite sure how Juve ending up dropping so many points against these type of teams this season. I always feel that whenever a match develops into over-relying on Conceicao to get them out of the jam, more often than not it ends in disappointment. Not a bad display from Verona for a change.
