Anyone who didn’t enjoy this game I have to say football, frankly isn’t for you. Two of the strongest teams in the world trading punches against two defences which weren’t even bad, just two vehemently deadly attacks. Bayern controlled the ball but with psg’s lightning counterattack spearheaded by dembele and kvaratskelia it was a recipe for disaster. Psg go up 5-2 in the second half before an upamecano header and luis Diaz golazo cut the deficit to one going into the second leg.

For a lot of young spurs fans this was the first time we’d seen our team lift a trophy. To do so against our English rivals in United was even better. Objectively a shocking game of football, but the sweetest result. Also a defensive masterclass from Tottenham, Romero a gladiator.
