What a weird but entertaining game?? But oh my god can we take our fucking chances for once it's so painful to watch. They literally felt so bad they gave us a open net and we've sent the fucking ball to Philadelphia. There was a chance where Russell had to shoot i don't understand why he didn't with the space he had. Oates, Russell, NMW, Smith and Abbott had great chances in that first half of and we couldn't put a single one away. Very similar to Bromley I've defended Oatesy so much over the years but those last 20 minutes today..🤐 Oxford did NOTHING in both halves and we've drew. Before kick-off i'd of 100% took a draw but wow. Cracking goal from Lynch but that's literally the only chance they had except the one after like 2 minutes. Also why were we starting a central midfielder at wing-back when we had two on the bench?? Oxford are a dirty side too, both of them deserved reds. I don't know if it's dirty or more just stupid but especially O'Donkor..genuinely what was he thinking???? I also want to see the Kioso second yellow again because getting sent off for diving is fucking hilarious. We had SIXTEEN shots in that second half. WE PUT ONE OF THEM ON TARGET. ONE. Actually quite impressive to miss the target 94% of the time Smith's goal was the scrappiest thing i've ever seen but it went in the net and that's all we needed to do. I feel like 90% of this review is me ranting so let me try and actually praise us for a bit. We looked good on the ball and we created a lot of chances. We have to be putting more of them away but having 24 shots against a team who just came down from the Championship is very promising. I think Hewitt was excellent and so was Moriah-Welsh. Abbott was okay but he's clearly still not fully fit. Ok i know i said i was done ranting but why on earth are we trying to cross the ball into the box v 9 men instead of actually playing football it didn't work once. Next home game is the Nottinghamshire Derby i'm terrified 😵💫
