jesus christ this French attack is absolutely terrifying. if they win this world cup there needs to be serious conversations about this being the best national team attack of all time

if South Korea played like they did those last 10 minutes they would've won. what a boring game, nothing happened till the 85th minute, and the one goal was a mistake by the Korean keeper, who actually played very well other than that mistake. im a little surprised how Mexico didnt get a single yellow card in that game though, I thought both teams were very physical and Mexico a little dirty at times, so im surprised no player got a yellow. well done to Mexico, they took their chance when a mistake happened, and are now the first team to get out of the group. no player really deserves motm so ill give it to Mexicos keeper rangel, who had nothing to do all game until the last couple minutes when he somehow made a double save from a korean corner that somehow didnt go in.

genuinely an incredible game! probably the best game so far in my opinion! 3 crossbar hits, with both teams non stop attacking. Ecuador with the upper hand in the first half, and ivory Coast upper hand in the second half. diomande played very well, if Liverpool sign him he will be a good player for them unfortunately. singo looking like prime Gareth Bale for the assist sprinting up the wing, with my boy Amad with a brilliant finish into the bottom left, scoring his first world cup goal and winning it for his nation against a team who had been unbeaten for 19 matches! ivory Coast is my second team this tournament so im very happy with this win for them. would love to give amad motm and he probably would be if he started, but gotta give diomande it this time. let's hope amad starts next game, I think he will.

pretty dull first half but decent second half. the 2 uncs of salah and de bruyne still got it. Ashour with a brilliant strike into the bottom left against courtois, and lukaku coming on and instantly making an impact with it unfortunately being an own goal. overall decent game, will be interesting to see who gets further between the 2 teams. doku had a disapointing game, he got locked down by hany, unfortunate that he scored the own goal as he was a potential motm for me.
