Qatar1 - 1Switzerland
Well wow, definitely happened. Clear to see the impact of the heat will have and switzerland evidently switched off because of it.
Qatar
Brazil1 - 1Morocco
Brazil not really turning up when expected, Morocco looked much more expansive then they did in AFCON and while I expected them to get a result today, they looked a lot more positive going forwards than usual
Morocco
Haiti0 - 1Scotland
This game definitely happened! Scotland didn’t look 100%, Haiti very impressive but just couldn’t find the last ball or two
ScotlandAustralia2 - 0Türkiye
Masterclass by Australia. Turkey had no answers and aus took their chances when they came
Australia
South Korea2 - 1Czech Republic
Much better game, real battle of styles, South Korea got the result they deserved in the end but were made to really battle for it by a quality Czech Republic side.
South Korea
Mexico2 - 0South Africa
solid match to open the wc, good atmosphere and mexico get the job done, SA a real let down and killed off the entertainment personally
Mexico
Auckland1 - 0Sydney
Yeah dead. No suprise for a GF but cagey game that didn’t have much.
Auckland
