how the hell are we struggling this badly ?????? i've genuinely come up for a lack of words i KNOW i'm being a negative nancy but it's so hard to keep having faith when this is happening every week. i said in my last review pls stop playing 45 minutes like shit then the other like class it's NEVER going to work i like ayling, but it's hard to keep having faith in him when he's wearing the captain armband while sending shit misplaced balls, he NEEDS to be better, he SHOULD be better genuinely these performances is what's been keeping us down (duh, obviously) but if we don't change that defense we're going to suffer ALL season. somehow we can't do both, we either have to have great attack or great defense and nothing in between because what on EARTH is that backline doing ???????? however i do think people are being dramatic when criticizing lankshear and vitek, saying lankshears "dried up" when he shouldn't be the only person we depend on for scoring, every goalkeeper is going to concede eventually just let vitek find his bearings it's frustrating to see mcgree score an own goal when he's one of my favorite boro players but he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time i have a feeling that ball was going in either way good to see arfsten find the net! i've been really loving watching the americans find themselves on this squad all in all poor, but there's always things to improve on, at this rate cozier duberry is doing fucking charity work my goat bro 😭😭😭

frustrating because i know we can be better than this, that back line was shocking, that first half was shocking, this was a chance to make it to the top of the table and we didn't take it which is just so typical of us second half was far better but it's hard to see the positives when the goals we conceded shouldnt have been conceded in the first place, it is really frustrating and lowkey i might get slimed out for saying this but one good ball from ayling doesn't make me super keen on forgetting this really rough performance. it was one where we should have shined especially when that millwall side is so down with injuries right now. i want ayling to prove me wrong but i'm really starting to feel myself lose hope in him which makes me sick to say to be fair :( a point is better than none but i'm back to be really discouraged, we have to stop playing 45 minutes like shit then the other far better, it's the most stressful thing ever but onto the positives i think the subs were well timed and really made the difference when they were put on. i love hellberg and the way he treats the players and how well he's able to read the game. boro's always fun to watch for me ! love watching them ! but sometimes it's just hard to look at the positives, onto the next !!
