Brighton3 - 0Arsenal

I almost put Lockdown Arsenal behind me... thanks for that.

Brighton
Ipswich2 - 4Arsenal

I refuse to be fooled by the scoreline, that was an unconvincing and awkward performance that would have seen any better opponent probably hold Arsenal to at least a draw. Ipswich have kicked on and look far better than the last time they were in the Premier League, but we were janky in all areas of the pitch and conceded some sloppy, stupid goals. The youngsters are the stars of the show tonight, which we love to see, but things have to improve otherwise we absolutely will be punished.

Arsenal
West Ham6 - 0Wrexham

Unbelievable West Ham performance. Wrexham started well but as soon as that first goal went in, I think they just got overwhelmed by the sheer quality WHU had. Almost feels like the 6-0 scoreline flatters Wrexham; could've easily had 8, 9, or more. WHU could've got complacent defensively too yet they remained solid.

West Ham
Napoli0 - 1Arsenal

The weird feeling of being disappointed with a win, lacked so much clinicality in the final third, I honestly believe we played to the quality of a 3-0 win minimum. Need to step that up when tougher opponents come knocking. Still so so solid.

Arsenal
Arsenal2 - 1Chelsea

Sixty million down the drain...

Arsenal
Elche0 - 5Barcelona

Seems like Elche just lost belief in the end, Barça's clinicality was the major difference maker in the first half which was otherwise evenly contested by both teams being so good at picking up stray 2nd and 3rd balls that it almost made them somewhat sloppy in possession. Barça ironed out those hiccups, Gordon made an immediate impact, Raphinha was his usual unreal self, and it became easy to overwhelm an eventually dejected and run-down Elche. Good watch.

Barcelona
GO Ahead Eagles3 - 1ADO Den Haag

Not gonna lie, never watched the Eredivisie before today. Expectations were caged for match quality, being relatively unfamiliar with both sides. Only caught the first half, and clinicality lacked at both ends of the pitch, in my opinion, save for the wonderful move that gave Go Ahead the lead through Søren Tengstedt. Clearly picked up in the second half, so I'll give the teams their flowers.

GO Ahead Eagles
Arsenal3 - 0Man City

Silky, smooth, døminant. Showed a new killer instinct. Keep the dinner plates a-coming, man's hungry.
