Very positive about our showing today. Marcos Leonardo was fine in the first half, but will obviously take some time to acclimate himself to the team. Carrizo was good in the first half, together with Bouwman too, not anything to really criticize. Mokio was incredible, i truly hope he gets to play the full season he is just so good, got huge praises from Michel as well when he was subbed off. Ouazane is one of the most exciting youth players i have seen to be honest, and i have seen many exciting youth players over all these years at this club. The way how he makes everything look so easy is incredible to see, and still young so can grow so much. Huge huge huge talent. I can point out so many players but generally most did well. I really like the way we play, its not perfect yet and i dont expect it to be for a little while but its a huge improvement over last season. There is constant growth every game. The mix between experience and youth is really good right now. The overlaps from the left side of Caio Henrique with Godts being more of an inside forward works great, i can see that tandem working really effectively. Blind/Baas being on that left side helps, their defensive intelligence especially of Blind is crucial. Right side needs some work imo, i like Carrizo but another winger wouldn’t hurt. Rosa is good at least on right back, very underrated player. Not sure what happens to Gaaei, was supposed to leave but Frankfurt were being cheap fucks lmao. End of the day i dont think Michel has a proper starting 11 yet, only on a few positions im guessing. I am quite optimistic for this season, maybe i shouldn’t, I’ve been hurt many times before being optimistic. But it is much better than being depressed every game expecting the worst. Just glad we have a good batch of youth academy players coming through and a manager that isn’t afraid of throwing them to the lions. That is honestly what gives me the most joy watching this club, and what makes me most proud.
