not to be biased or anything, but this was the match to watch tonight. proper championship football. both teams desperate for all 3 points and you had no idea which way it was going bolton were unlucky not to get anything. they look like a solid team. based on those 90 minutes, i don’t think they’ll be in danger of going straight back down as long as they build on their defence, which was ultimately their downfall in this case given all of the noise outside of the club over the last few weeks, i think we played brilliantly. conceding after 25 seconds was ridiculous, but the way we fought back immediately after both goals was admirable hard to choose between cooper and donovan for POTM so just pretend they’re both there… onto saturday, first game of the season i’ll be attending! please don’t embarrass me bladesmen 🙏
