yeo its only getting a 2 because spain was great, but this was like the worst match of this world cup omds. SEE WHEN I HEARD MY TOP 2 TEAMS WERE GONNA FACE EACH OTHER, believe me i was SO EXCITED but what a stinker for argentina holy. since im writing this late, im summarizing my rants and anger from the day i watched this: ARG: -lisandro, amazing defence, saved a near goal but then injured (literally one of my favs so heartbreakingg) -parades holyyyyy listen hes great at clean tackles but WAY too aggressive, we dont have to talk about this -subbing alvarez out then NOT putting in lautaro was the silliest decision ive seen -way too many older players when we have young talent (nico paz, valentin barco, etc) -simeone's missed shot actually broke me (my rant is insane) -enzo sold the whole bag with that absolutely unnecessary challenge on cubarsi; ppl complain about his first yellow but its in the rules so not much to say about that -tagliafico kept losing the ball and usually this guys a good defender so that was unfortunate -most annoying part for me was the fact that we didnt have a striker; messi kept sending shots at the end but there was no one to follow up -i screamed "ily emi martinez" for each save SPAIN: -cinema -as expected everyone did exactly what they needed to -insane defense -cubarsi with that one slide tackle thingy (you KNOW the one), amazing to see it from my lil barca boy -ferran scoring the winner was great for the barca heart (or i guess psg now..) -barca boys won it final verdict: stinker argentina, good job spain. didnt really feel like a final but... we win some we lose some. kinda sad knowing that was messis last dance for argentina, but what a run that was (i love you rodri but messi shouldve gotten golden ball). ANYWAY, yes i am salty but happy at the same time. the torch has been passed.
