Just a poor game, wasnt expecting too much from this game anyway but felt like they didnt really care for this game. But i suppose it also just takes some time, you cant be fluent under a new manager so fast especially with new signings being introduced and some others struggling with fitness. No one really played that well though, i’d say only Blind and Brandt, Baas got subbed in and did good as per usual, Ouazane looked decent. But it was rather dreadful besides that. Marcos Leonardo hasn’t had a great start, he just needs a goal and some confidence, he has quality enough so thats not the problem. We desperately need a new defensive mid still, besides that i think we will be fine over the season, just a winger if Godts does still leave. I just don’t have any takeaways from this, we rotated a bit, didn’t play with full intensity for majority of the game, and thus looked like shit. It’s also the way Shelbourne play, 5 at the back pretty much with some pretty big defenders, very very physical which a lot of our players aren’t too good against. Oh well i still have faith, Rome wasn’t built in a day and all that, it just all takes time and talking shit about everything and everyone won’t make any of them play better lmao. This was bad but this is not even in the top 30 worst games of the past 4 years.
