A great first half for us for two reasons, and two reasons only. First, the team's pressing was excellent, especially considering it was their first league match. Second, the team capitalized on half-chances and scored. It was strange to me that Elche dominated possession in the first half, but considering the midfield duo of Gavi and Bernal, it wasn't a surprise. The worst thing about the half was Gavi's injury. Even if his performance wasn't good, every player on the roster is needed, without exception. The second half was pure BARCA , the team started to take possession more and were very patient but not slow like the first half. Lamine wasn’t in his day clearly so when Gordon came in the whole team changed and everyone was active and effective. Really happy with the overall performance and Adeyemi & Gordon debut .
