An okay game I guess , first half was really entertaining with Elche’s continuous goal scoring opportunities which Deportivo took advantage of and punished them for their missed chances. I won’t put all the blame on Elche’s in the first half because Leo Roman made incredible saves that’s why he is my MOTM. Second half also started strong but minute after minute the game started to slow because of the fatigue which is completely normal in the first game week . Deserved goal by Elche in the second half and a deserved draw in the end imo. Amatucci, Aubameyang, Marc Aguado played really well but for me Leo Roman stood out the most..
Really nice match overall, the team was better in both halves but lacked pace and creativity in the first half. Second half went really well, the team started building up plays from different sides of the pitch and was able to shake Basel’s solid defense. What I am seeing from Xavi Espart, Hamza, Adeyemi so far is something exceptional. Xavi Espart has been performing really well recently in the RB position and continued to do it again today in midfield position (his original position). Hamza Abdelkarim is just a lethal striker and has been taking advantage of every minute he gets and scoring almost every chance, definitely can perform well in La Liga too. Adeyemi played on both sides and has been very good, cutting inside from the right and trying to create opportunities and then taking Raphina’s role and performing well too. His freshness and speed is looking good and can’t wait to see him in bigger games soon. MOTM Adeyemi imo.
Wow ! Arsenal is the most prepared and promising club so far from the matches I’ve seen . It’s clear that them winning the league boosted their confidence because what I am seeing from them is something special, no more haram ball, players understand their roles and arguably have been better performing them.. However this could all change once the season starts but already Tzolis, Odegaard and the team as a whole is looking very good and they’re keeping me optimistic to what they can do next season. GGs honestly.

Small Island with Big Dreams 🦈 Cape Verde every game surprises us more and more honestly and someone please check if Vozinha is actually 40 or no ! No way their defense and entire squad gave everyone a hard time while having current best players on the planet . I genuinely couldn’t believe it, because I don’t know Argentina are bad or Cape Verde are so good that they make other teams look average . This match going to extra time is the last thing I expected, honestly Cape Verde showed the world what playing with your soul for the badge could do and where it can take you. Today, we almost witnessed arguably the biggest upset in world cup history. Cape Verde defend but they defend to do something, and when they attack, they sting where it hurts most which is even more impressive, I am still shocked. The only things that was expected and it happened it is that Argentina won at the end, but they needed to give 200% to win. So happy for Messi, yet so sad for Cape Verde, their passion and unexpected performance will truly be missed and forever remembered. Cape Verde were the secret sauce to this tournament, they were the team that showed big nation’s weaknesses, they were the reason that big nations changed a lot of things. The emotions during this match were all over the place, it was something special and cannot be described what so ever, only people watched the game will ever understand. Cape Verde, welcome to history and you can leave with your heads up.. 🇦🇷🇨🇻

I am not even kidding, the first 30 mins of Mexico’s performance is the best performance I’ve seen in this WC, I wouldn’t have expected Mexico to play like they did in a million years especially against Ecuador which is a team that is not considered weak at all even if they qualified as 3rd we all know that they could do and we’ve seen it. Before anything let me just talk about Gilberto Mora what a player man and he’s only 17! It’s his second start in the WC and we saw what he could and again let’s not forget it’s in the RO32 against Ecuador, this guy needs to start every game I don’t even care about managing his minutes. However, Ecuador did change a lot after they conceded two goals but it was too late, they became better but with no serious goal scoring opportunities as usual which is the main thing they were suffering from in this WC. Respect to Javier Aguirre’s squad for being extremely united and playing as a team especially defensively which made this W happen. Can’t wait to see them again 💫.. 🇪🇨🇲🇽

Football for me is not just a sport. It’s something I grew up with, lived with, and felt every moment of. When I was a teenager, I used to collect newspapers and open the sports section just to gather pictures for my journal. That was my way of documenting unforgettable matches. As newspapers slowly disappeared, I stopped doing it. But in 2017, after Barcelona’s remontada against PSG, I just had to make an exception. I printed photos from that night because I wanted that match to be part of my journal and properly documented. It was the last football memory I ever added there. Teenage me had no idea that one day I would be documenting football memories again, but this time through this amazing app that brought that passion back to me. Now I can keep all my unforgettable football memories in one place, just like I used to do years ago. So grateful for this app. Thank you for building this masterpiece ❤️ And here are some pages from my old journal :(

MY FIRST EVER WORLD CUP GAME!!! What a game it was! Thought first half a dull. The French supporters could barely get a chant going with the lack of action. Senegal combined better and had the better chances. Mbappe loosing the ball left and right. Wish I witnessed the bookd slander session 😭😭 But second half was a different game! Olise unlocked the defence and Mbappe finished well. Game was way more open after the first goal! Mbaye scored a brilliant goal! Then at the end Mbappe remembered that he was MR. WORLD CUP and scored a screamer! Senegal should be proud of their performance and I think they might go far this WC!!! A World Cup game in an NFL stadium was a bit odd but you could still feel the magic of the World Cup! A day I’ll definitely remember for a while!!!
