Only watched 2nd half because i woke up late, but what a fucking win for Villa. Suzuki is the best goalie in the Premier League, Manzambi is just fucking incredible im so happy he has worked out already ive loved watching him play for a while and seeing him be great in the Premier League is just amazing. Jackson is also pretty good, still not worth the price tag as of now but he has done more than most expected i suppose. Manzambi the second player to score and assist on their first Premier League start. First was Kevin Phillips back in 2005 against Bolton. Dont think De Zerbi his tactics are necessarily the issue, the players just arent good enough. Another thing is that Premier League managers have likely just found out how to minimize the risk when playing against a manager with a style that De Zerbi has. Tactics go deep like that lmao, but for the masses it is of course easier to say the simple thing. At least Spurs scored? Maybe theyre happy with that but who cares UTFV 💜💙

Lucas, hope you’re well. Wouldn’t you second point on De Zerbi point to a manager who’s tactics have been found out, therefore, a manager who needs to do his homework, therefore, a not good manager? I’m definitely biased because I haven’t liked him since his days in Italy and the Ukraine, but I feel like his issue has come from trying to change on the field but not off it
@rafadinhoforlahm he buys the ball playing CBs he wants while sacrificing Vuskovic, despite Van Hecke being inferior defensively - yet he buys not target man as a plan B to longball it in case his press gets figured out, or worse, allowed…we’ve seen both cases in the past week against Liverpool and Everton
@rafadinhoforlahm was he let down by the board, YES massively, but us not releasing Gakpo doesn’t make the situation a whole lot better, given Kudus and Savio look their only functional attackers, and Gakpo isn’t an ideal ST - to me it seems like De Zerbi’s tactics are an issue, as the Premier League has gotten so good without the ball, yet De Zerbi is still unable to work without it
@rafadinhoforlahm For sure, his man management is just poor too, and hes stubborn so he wont try something else. When it works it works well but its the Premier League where managers are actually quite brilliant for the most part, their big losses have all been against managers id put in the top 5 of the premier league
@carbonfiverr I just think Spurs are unfixable - De Zerbi earned the job by being the only one to keep them up, so now they’re in it together, and I feel like the squad got worse - they brought in “ideal” players, who need perfect conditions to work, but now they’re in a relegation battle
