I dont know if im just too depressed but i feel too exhausted to be negative here, or just numb to any emotion at this point. First 15 mins were good, properly showed why i still have faith this season, despite mistakes from Ouazane and Gloukh in the final third they did create some chances at least and that made us dangerous. Lucky early goal which was pretty silly, and then a worldie from Ouazane, i wish it would get more recognition but its not even gonna be one of the main talking points now that the game wansnt won. Ter Stegen did great with many saves, maybe just maybe he was somewhat part of the mistake at the first goal we conceded but i also feel like Dolberg should be blamed for that, and besides that the defense shouldve prevented that goal too, if we had a proper defensive mid I dont think that goal wouldve happened. But yeah defensive mid, thats just the issue now, has been the issue ever since Henderson left, yet it continues to be an issue absolutely nobody fixes. Regeer isnt good enough, will never be good enough either. Hes backup quality at best. Besides that its fine i guess, defense was ass and i’d much prefer someone else gets minutes over Bouwman. He has potential, a lot of it, but he is in such bad form that its probably best for him to get some rest sit on the bench. He wasnt THAT bad today, but i thought he looked really nervous near the end which i guess is fair if youre young. Marcos Leonardo was fine idk what else he couldve done, he was brought on when we werent dominating at all and rarely ever created anything, cant blame him if nothing comes his way. Had one decent chance but got blocked, then a second chance where Tolu and him walked into each other and thats just silly from the both of them. But its kinda whatever now i cant be bothered to give a shit right now ive seen worse than this. Week was already ass and talking shit about this team aint making that better anyway.
