I'm glad you enjoyed fablehaven, Brandon Mull was my 2nd favourite author as a kid after Rick Riordan. My personal favourite of his was the 5 kingdoms series but they failed to gain the cultural relevance of the fablehaven series.
@harris I absolutely adored Fablehaven growing up. My earliest memories with reading are Fablehaven and similar fantasy and I still look at it fondly.
