game started off very even with an argument that courage even started better than gotham which i wasn’t expecting at all tbh, this gotham team have been goood. not even surprised that gotham scored first tbh, first real attempt and they’ve scored from it, defence has gotta do better she was so open, nobody blocking her at all, one defender back bro. missing maycee bell more than expected, and i expected to miss her badly. we just don’t seem as comfortable defensively without her man. i hate offsides. such a pointless thing bro. just stop the attacker from getting ahead of you why are we punishing the attacker that you can’t defend them properly?? how is that their fault cuh?? other than the bogus offside call we did actually not look too bad offensively, defensively we kinda suck ngl, desperately need maycee bell and nat jacobs back bro. gotham haven’t been toooo threatening but definitely look better than us for the most part. first half was less than optimal but we weren’t bad yk man! things could still happen, you can never rule us out when we have ash sanchez. you can rule us offside though fucking hell bro really do think a lot of it was just awful awful luck what can i say, luck can win or lose you games clearly erica meg is genuinely one of the best players in the nwsl atm, the girl is 19, works her literal ASS OFF in every area of the pitch, isn’t afraid to make a tackle when needed and is good defensively and offensively. watching her play you’d think she’d been with the team for years, the fact she’s so young and so new to the team and the league is truly so impressive, i feel like every review i have a bit dedicated to her but she’s truly deserving of it she’s insanely good in and out of possession, not many players at her age, if any, could do what she’s doing so consistently. you can tell she’s tiring towards the end of games but, again, she’s 19 she has plenty of time to get used to the amount of football she’s playing.
