Big win π So happy we got to see Kerr-James link up one last time π₯² On the same note, I am absolutely heartbroken that this is Sam Kerr's last match in Chelsea's colors. Because of her I ended up following women's 2023 World Cup and it led me to start following women's football in general so it is really bittersweet to see someone who has had such a huge impact on me leave my club. Thank you for everything Sam, you will always be a proper Chels π

So sad she was injured for majority of that World Cup, loved that tournament though
@carbonfiverr yeah, she's been really unlucky with the injuries and that makes me really sad π hoping she gets to finish her career on a high note with no major complications
@nocistarske injuries are a lot more common in general in womens football sadly, next years world cup maybe though for her π€
@carbonfiverr and I hate that ugh but anyways
@nocistarske i wonder if its just because medical teams use the same data as from mens football, but im not a expert so i dont know ππ
@carbonfiverr I haven't looked too much into it either but I think so! However, I read that WSL and NWSL intend to do research of their own in order to help reduce ACL injuries which hopefully in the long term will be helpful
@nocistarske should definitely make things better, the bodies are so vastly different that issues continue being there unless you properly research the data for womens football
@carbonfiverr yup, it's about time they started looking into it!
