Honestly such a bad game from us but bad in general. Awful refereeing too, to both sides, like how do these people get their positions? We clearly missed Godts who had to drop out from the starting lineup last minute. Once he came on it looked a lot better offensively. Ouazane is not great on the left hand side, i trust Michel Sanchez has more knowledge than me more often than not but i think Gloukh on the left and Ouazane in the middle wouldve been more effective. With new player Caio Henrique and Ouazane it just lacked coordination on that side honestly. Bouwman and Regeer made mistakes as well, i love Bouwman and he has so much potential but defensively he needs to grow a lot still. When looking for a goal we played 352 or something in possession, position wise its a little difficult to put everyone on a specific spot because Godts takes roaming very seriously lmao. Tolu did well after being subbed, Godts incredible as always. Marcos Leonardo is still struggling but he just needs time, its a completely different environment. Brandt was bloody incredible, he will be a joy to watch. You just immediately see how good he is, incredible football IQ. For the goal it was a good cross from Rosa, held up very well by Tolu who is a fucking giant, and Mokio puts it in the back of the net which is lovely. Ter Stegen had a great game, incredible save too, brought much needed calmness as well. From this game we desperately need a midfielder still, and also a left winger unless we start using Gloukh on the left for those half spaces and Brandt central who tends to be more on the right side anyway. Right wing is rough, i like Berghuis at times, but if he cant get his passes off than he brings nothing. Still some links to Roony Bardghji which would be great to be honest. And of course the so called ‘cannon’ of a transfer that Ronald de Boer teased, i dont know who that could be. Man of the match Ter Stegen, voted as best Ajacied too, he deserves it.
