Australia
Egypt

Weirdly enough one of the games i looked forward to the most, two teams that both want to make more history and are very close to each other in quality. A incredibly defensive Australia with some giants in the back, and a offensive Egypt with enough quality up front. Game did not live up to the expectations though. Game went as expected, Australia sitting back and letting Egypt have the ball, and going on a counter with Bos and Irankunda when theres space. I dont think they accounted for them losing a header though, quite funny to see that being scored against one of the tallest defenses of the tournament. Bos getting injured right before half time sucked too, i love that man, hes just such a good player and always keeps going. Mohamed Hany scoring his 2nd own goal of the tournament, and right after he had a bad head clash. Personally i think its karma for him not being subbed off, hes clearly concussed. Extra time was rather frustrating, just barely anything happening, same for the last 20 minutes or so of regular time. Shouldve known it was going to penalties. Australia subbing in Ryan was weird, he did nothing of value in the shootout. Harry Souttar and Lucas Herrington both made the same mistake by leaning back and shot it over. Feel really bad for Herrington, kid is only 18 and this will be a rough thing to deal with. Hope he has good family/friends to support him. Egypt finally winning a knockout game for the first time. Mabrook ya Masr 🇪🇬 Popovic is also a fraud like many others, how did these people ever get their coaching licenses? I might need to look into it if its so easy because dear god these managers are ass. Man of the match Marwan Attia, i can drop all his stats but its literally too much and his heat map is everywhere lmao. Great game from him. 1848 characters on this boring game 😵💫
