Great match, so many chances created from both teams, just became a matter of who took theirs, can't argue against the fact that Wisła deserved the win as they were capable of actually putting the ball in the back of the net, despite the fact that GKS had more overall chances. Happy for Wisła to be back, titans of the Polish game, I think the 2nd 'biggest' club in Poland after Legia, they look to be an extremely fun team, really awful defence today but more than made up for it with their attack. I worry for GKS, so many chances created but so so wasteful, they have to hope that this is just random variance and not a deeper issue as otherwise I think they'll really struggle this season, they were marginal favourites going into the match and the first half - where they were certainly the better team - showed that, but they got absolutely punished for not taking their chances. MOTM Sanchez as he would've had a brace had a very 50/50 call gone the other way, but I think both Krakow fullbacks were also excellent going forward.
