What a start to this game though, very high intensity from Arsenal straight from kickoff which led to the fastest goal ever scored in the Community Shield. Its a interesting one, i think the main difference throughout this game was purely Arsenal having much more intensity and actually fighting at all times. Man City look like they don’t even want to be there. Having this game on my second screen without sound i was confused at times when Arsenal players were celebrating so i thought they scored, only to see the replay that it was just a defensive action. Thats just not what you see at Man City. Simple mistakes were so common as well, but end of the day it is ‘just’ the Community Shield, i think recently i saw a stat where only around 25% of Community Shield winners end up winning the league as well, many things change in a whole season. I still have faith in Maresca, in style he is similar to Pep, and you will never be able to properly replace Pep anyway. It takes time, especially with other important players not taking part now. Transition period and all that. Writing down so much and i haven’t even talked about Tzolis lmao, what a fucking player thats all that needs to be said.
