Quite a similar game to last week, we had so many chances in the first half but couldn’t score. Then we concede a dumb set piece as always, just so so bad. Davy Klaassen yet again scored the first goal for us, still Mister 1-0 (even if this was the 1-1 i dont care). Glouk finally gets his opportunities and he takes them, last week a goal already, now three. Good goals too, first one mostly set up by Godts again, second goal was a perfect pass from Berghuis and a lovely trivala goal from Gloukh. Third just a powerful shot after a great Edvardsen cross, actually enjoyed watching my club, it’s been a very long time since i felt that way. 8-2 on aggregate and it couldve been much much more if we didn’t miss so many chances. Ouazane also showed himself so well in the 20 minutes he got, almost scored a worldie too, what a fucking talent. Shelbourne next 🥳 Tactically speaking there is not much i can say here that i didn’t say last week. We really just need another more defensive midfielder, but one that is progressive too. I would like if Mokio just gets those minutes though but im biased because i love that kid, and hes like one of the most liked players at the club. But i like the way we play and that’s without all our new signings + players who are still on holiday. Man of the match obviously Oscar Gloukh.
