what a fucking game from seattle reign. I don’t think anyone outside of the reign expected this upset. the football they played today was so gorgeous - constant movement, connecting one touch passes, an early golazo, and so many crucial saves between their posts…WOW. Would like to joke about Harvey and chatgpt but seriously, Seattle absolutely clicked today. Hope they can keep this up for the rest of the season bc that was fun to watch. As for Portland, I’m not quite sure what happened to them. The midfield was a mess and nothing was going their way. Coming off a really good run only to get shutout in seattle is tough, especially knowing this is one of the deeper rivalries if not THE rivalry of nwsl. POTM to Cassie Miller for those clutch saves.
