what a fucking game from seattle reign. I don’t think anyone outside of the reign expected this upset. the football they played today was so gorgeous - constant movement, connecting one touch passes, an early golazo, and so many crucial saves between their posts…WOW. Would like to joke about Harvey and chatgpt but seriously, Seattle absolutely clicked today. Hope they can keep this up for the rest of the season bc that was fun to watch. As for Portland, I’m not quite sure what happened to them. The midfield was a mess and nothing was going their way. Coming off a really good run only to get shutout in seattle is tough, especially knowing this is one of the deeper rivalries if not THE rivalry of nwsl. POTM to Cassie Miller for those clutch saves. Not sure why she’s not on the roster here on bookd.

Great game from Seattle, huge upset because i had Portland winning this one somewhat comfortably. I can name them all but honestly all the defense and midfield of Seattle put in a shift and a half, a shit ton of defcon from all of them but especially McClernon. Cassie Miller fantastic too with 9 saves. Portland with 26 shots but no goals is just so bad. Makes the title race really fun.

Really solid performance from Seattle today. Can’t beat it or be mad even though I was hoping for Portland to come back.

One of the perks of being an American territory is that I get to watch American sports and this was a good game. If Dickey wasn’t in goal thorns definitely would have gotten at least one goal.
