a dream come true for me to finally watch nadeshiko play in-person and took about nearly half of my life to have that happen. considering how japan have been traveling nonstop after winning asian cup and losing their head coach right after, they did the best they could despite the circumstances. core memories: my friend and i the only ones cheering like crazy when ueki scored to a near silent crowd. taking a selfie with yamashita post game 🤩

first 5 minutes, Japan were on it but US outplayed them for the rest of the game. Matsukubo sold a beautiful ball from Minami💔(shame but #beenthere). Ueki was kept onside by Fox fixing her bun 😭(she's only human, still my goat tho). so much space around Heaps, Japan's defense basically gifted her that goal. always a good match up to watch tho so i guess i'll be watching the entire triple series
