Stars looked so bad even with having a 2 player advantage. Idk what Sjören is telling them but the complete lack of urgency and spirit and energy felt intentional. Swanson and Gareis were the only bright spots. Truly incredible they ended up with the win.

Traaaaaaash. I’m sorry but Manaka (chi) struggled tonight. Maitane should start over her based on her last few performances. So thrilled Mal is back and I hope that we can see some great connections between her and Huitema and Joesph. I will be praying to the Soccer Gods to heal this Stars team because omg it’s so bad.

Honestly I thought the Stars played rather well despite losing 2-0. They had plenty of chances and were knocking on the door to get a goal but just couldn’t quite seal the deal. The second goal was so disappointing. I have so much love and respect for Alyssa but that was not the best decision to make in the situation. It hurt to see that one go in off such an egregious mistake from her.
