João Pedro his goal in the 31st second is the fastest goal ever in matchweek 1 of a Premier League season. Not that it matters when you have Robert Sánchez on goal because a fairly easy save turns into a goal anyway with him. Besides that, Chelsea actually look pretty good. Same shit ive said almost every Premier League game this weekend that it will all take time because literally everyone has a new manager. But Palmer played well, finally again, João Pedro was brilliant because i didnt have him in my fpl, and Rogers was great too though still not worth that price tag lmao. Also 17 games in a row without a clean sheet for Chelsea, lil fun fact. Glad Gonzalo Garcia scored for Fulham, i quite like him but i also hope Fulham lose every for allowing Arbeloa to even have a job he should be stuck in some dungeons for his crimes against this beautiful game. Man of the match could really be Robert Sánchez, he made this a very close game for no fucking reason at all, how does he still have a job? Anyway its Palmer, kinda speaks for itself.

Everyone else will talk about the two goals he let in, but I’d also like to mention the Robinson chance. Sanchez has three options there: 1. Come forward and try to get there first 2. Trust your defender and go back to beat the ball 3. Hold your position and dive to your left when the shot comes off He does none of the 3 options. He stared at the ball like a mentally impaired child meeting the mascots at Disney World for the first time. If it were on target, even if it hit the far post where Sanchez was in relation to Robinson, I am certain it would have sailed right in. I’d also like to say, Gusto is utter shit. Can’t wait for Palestra to be fit. And whilst I have said more negative words about this man than any other man, Pedro Neto is decent at RWB.

Didn’t watch the first half because I was spending a lovely time in Portugal (pictures attached)! Tuned in for the second though and it was a good watch. Chelsea look good under this Xabi system, and it looks to have gotten the best out of Palmer, Pedro and Rogers. Defence is a bit worrying tho conceding 2 to this Fulham team who I think will be in a lot of trouble this season. The FPL for gameweek 1 is looking a shambles. 128/140 in the bookd league😬
