Hull 6 points off 2 matches, genuinely look like they might stay up this year. I only watched this match during halftime of the Frankfurt match and the last 20 minutes but in that time I saw the sole big Coventry chance and Hull winning goal so I will allow myself to larp. Tzolakis easy man of the match, had absolutely no business saving that Awoyini chance at the tail end of the first half, would have been a completely different match had that gone in. Happy to see Liam Millar with a match winning goal too.

To make this match up exciting it should be scheduled in mid-winter, rain, lots of dirt, and players going for each others head and not ball. At least this way, there would be excitement. The quality of the game was actual shit, neither side could play clean and beautiful football, but I think it’s the least problem out of this game. Did either side made any upgrade after promoting to premier league? Well, we’ll see at the and of the season but I don’t think so. Overall, even though everyone is hyped about Hull, they can’t go on like this every gw, low-block, wait for spaces to open to counter attack - so that’s why I believe both of them will be relegated at the end of the season. With this start Hull could give good fight but I don’t see a club who Hull would replace in this time being.

Really disappointed by this match. Expected a lot more from Coventry as this is a game they really should be winning but they provided absolutely nothing. The stadium was also very empty and there was little to no atmosphere it was very weird. Frank made some strange subs and it came to haunt Coventry as one counter got Hull the win. Both defences were very solid, especially Hull’s, they look very strong at the back; Tzolakis is a great keeper and Ajayi is motm for me, he was great. Cov defence was also pretty good and their midfield of Grimes, Tchouna and Yirenkyi were also decent. But they gave nothing in the attack and they look in real trouble now, while Hull are flying. Pissed off cus I predicted a Cov win and have Van Ewijk on my FPL.

Bon une purge MAIS une incroyable histoire,hull city sont portée par une certaine aura en ce début de saison c’est incroyable et je commence à croire que ce genre d’accident faudra s’y habituer presque toutes les 2 semaines. À ce rythme là, la survie en PL est possible. J’adore ce genre d’équipe qui dans le football moderne n’ont pas peur de jouer sans ballon. Pour Coventry c’est une catastrophe, contre Arsenal c’était normal mais contre Hull City en ayant autant le ballon sans être inquiété par un pressing de tous les instants je ne comprends pas comment tu peux perdre.
