Thought Bolton were great, Preston were dreadful though. Saying that it should've been 2-2 with a golden chance missed right at the death. Bolton 1000% deserved winners though, huge 3 points to start the season. Think Preston could be in trouble this season...

Preston were rather awful, like actually really really awful. Love that Thierry Gale scored for Bolton, born in Barbados which happens to be my favorite flag in the world. Bolton looked good though, deserved the win here today.

The Championship marches on, this time it's a battle of newly promoted Bolton facing typically mid-table Preston. Bolton didn't pull any punches in the first half, having an amazing performance. Preston in turn did get better in the second half but their first was way too dismal to have any real turnaround. Bolton desperately needed a good start to their season and this will do great for them. Despite some glimpses of promising football from Preston, they will definitely have to do better from here on.
