Theres a WW2 history joke somewhere between Switzerland and Argentina but im too tired to think of anything funny. Switzerland without Manzambi vs Argentina with Scaloni who famously has no tactics. As someone who loves the deeper parts of the beautiful this game it is not something to necessarily look forward to. Messi is all i was really interested in, and Licha and Taglia my Ajax goats. Today, my dog Ellie turned 9, so this is how we spent her birthday. First, we went through the Dunkin drive-thru to get a bacon eggs and cheese wrap. Then, she got a mani/pedi and some big ass treats. Next, she eviscerated the stuffed elephant she got as a present. Finally, a roast beef dinner and sleeping through this snoozefest of a game. Five stars and POTM for her.

Dreadful 'football match'. It made me very unhappy. I have attatched a video of a $1400 piece of art I saw at an art gallery 2 years ago, it reminds me of my signature joker clapping gif. Watched it at the Hudson Yards watch party. Switzerland did incredibly well before and after the red. That Alvarez dagger was cool to experience with a large crowd. Still not convinced by this Argentina side but England never do stuff the easy way. Will be an interesting semifinal!
