First half was really good from the youngsters especially. I thought Lynch, Cisse, Bogarde, Hemmings and Burrowes were all great. We conceded but didn't drop our heads, good pressing and an amazing finish from Luka Lynch got us the equaliser. Really disappointed with Bizot's lack of attempts to dive for both goals, but it is what it is. Second half the team got much younger, still bright sparks but no real experience to lead the team for an equaliser. GG @faibo and Porto, hope you go on to do well in the upcoming season! Hemmings was my MOTM, great work ethic in both halves!

luka lynch has serious potential and what a goal by him, maatsen impressed me and looked very sharp excited for him to get a good run. hemmings passed the eye test and his progressive ability was on show, think he could get some senior minutes. not enough madjo 😡 still can’t put a player of the match on from villa only lets me use porto players, but hemmings was my potm

Decent for a pre-season. Porto still shows strong limitations just like last season on the attack, still depending heavily on set pieces. On a negative side, players like Kiwior and Gabri couldn’t perform well, which for centre back is worrying. But Hwang is a baller, it will be a strong solution in the midfield. Andre Silva is back and showed some interesting traits, but didn’t finish any ball, and we need goals. Gul is still the same limited player. The Aston Villa side is clearly on the early stages of pre season and thus it didn’t show a lot of strength, even less with the amount of players they lost. Great goal by Lynch, nevertheless.
