It’s incredible how Messi can play in ANY team, no matter how bad it is (because let’s face it, Argentina without Messi is not a contender). Thank you Cape Verde. The group stage was magical, but even though everything was against y’all, it was beautiful to see you fight until the end. Generational group of players. They deserve so much.
First of all, free Palestine. Second of all, the definition of a win win. No one play good, but any team that would reach the last 16 was already winning.
I might be biased but this was absolute cinema. 3 offside goals (one of them at 90+13), a comeback, a shithousery for the books. How not to love seeing Portugal play.
