Real Madrid7 - 1Celta Vigo
big score lines 11v11 feel better than when the rival is 1 or 2 men down but it still feels #bad a little. first half was boring up until the pepe goal. celta were playing quite well and despite the fact that real still weren't all that threatening both keepers were the highlights of the half, for the most part. celta were mostly checked out by the second goal, but we still got to see some bangers and even some good saves from celta's keeper. overall an entertaining second half. at some point i did start to feel bad for celta despite the fact that it's been a decade lol. cafucas you didn't do much that day but i miss you
Girona0 - 0Mallorca
nothing burger of a match However it's not a loss and we managed to not concede therefore it's a spiritual win in my books 🤓 it was quite an intense match for how little risks both teams were willing to take. despite it all, girona looked quite well on the ball and were moving like an actual team, which we were missing A LOT last season. both teams were obviously better defensively than offensively. that chance boñar had the very last minute, though... i must apologize, i wasn't familiar with your game. in a more objective sense i would've probably given the motm to mallorca's keeper, since he was the one who had to hold down the fort more in the match, but since they gave it to david irl i'm taking the W and giving it to him as well ❤️ this one goes out to all the fans in the replies to the twitter post about his renewal earlier in the summer, we need his experience and security in the backline.

Valencia2 - 3Real Madridvery ugly and tense match. ref was losing control of it at some points. i'm surprised valencia got away with 2 yellows while real took 7 because that definitely doesn't tell the whole story as far as fouls go. the second half was better as far as goals and pure entertainment go. a win against valencia will always be 5 stars no matter what
Sevilla2 - 6Real Madridthis was rather entertaining. sevilla were doing quite well for a team that conceded 3 goals each half. and the keeper even had some good saves

it's a fair result all things considered because neither team was attacking enough after the equalizer but that action @ 89'..... learn to sit back and observe, not everything needs a reaction. i love you linda please never retire

entertaining second half. also really enjoyed the moment atletico scored their second because they put 4-1 on tv for a few minutes instead. atletico players were constantly on the floor, though, and most of the time the ref dgaf
England2 - 3Spain
both teams trying to see which defense could stink it up more. thank goodness harry kane announced he isn't campaigning for the ballon d'or because that missed pen could've hurt his campaign for the ballon d'or that he very much doesn't want to run.
England
Real Sociedad W3 - 5Real Madrid Wthings can get pretty interesting and entertaining when the defense fails. i'm glad real wasn't discouraged by both times real equalized 🧑🦯➡️ that däbritz-schröder partnership was delightful
Real Madrid WGirona2 - 0Albacete
2 goals in the first half, gazzaniga making half the mistakes he usually does, clean sheet (!!!!), playing Well almost the full 90 with a bunch of starters missing.... dare i say my goats are most certainly NOT washed??? first half was certainly more entertaining than the second but it was still a pleasant match to watch. despite albacete's bad run so far they were tough to crack at first but eventually girona was able to mostly control the tempo. it's not that i was expecting us to lose because of all the players that left for international duty but it was still nice to see how well they worked together even when the subs were mostly the academy kids + mumin (my beloved) and portu (welcome back). in that vein, girona has brought back calmness and confidence in them into my life that was severely lacking last season and for that i am grateful. whole backline was on one tonight but david and alejandro were really holding down the fort, especially during the first half. i'll never get tired of saying it but i'm so grateful alex ended up staying. something i have to yell to into the void about that's more #niche so to speak is the crowd that inhabits montilivi now. the highs and lows the club has experienced these past 4 years has brought a lot of casual watchers, which isn't inherently bad, to the point where you get to have the unique experience of sitting next to people who complain about the animation stand and their flags while sitting 5 seats away from them. i guess the club could try and be more explicit about limited view in specific seats, but to know so little about how the seating at the stadium works that you Genuinely go and complain to security that the people in charge of Waving The Flags are Waving The Flags is crazy #ToMe. regardless the experience was positive. -1 star because david ignored me when the squad was saying hi at full time 💔 +0.5 star because mumin. ENDAVANT GIRONA ❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️

Atletico Madrid2 - 1Real Madridi don't fully get what mourinho's plan was here. controlling the tempo during the first half made sense considering how violent atleti usually are, but clearly they also need to score if they're gonna go for that. dean's red was fair based on the rules but still incredibly silly. simeone knows how to oversell every single contact and being the last man that was bound to happen. hopefully this doesn't hurt his confidence the same way it did last year. i did not get the vini and arda subs but mourinho's mind works in mysterious ways, clearly. rudiger showing once again why renewing a backup defender who knows he's a backup defender was a good idea. antonio they could never make me hate you. real madrid please don't make me live through another drought.
Real Madrid
Cadiz1 - 2Gironai'm getting my joy back 🥹 first half was quite good. second half girona lacked intensity and cádiz knew to take advantage of it. unfortunate for david there but it's bound to happen at some point considering his defending style, can't fault him too much for that and the rest of his match was quite solid. junior as always is always impressing and, most importantly, always showing passion. we lacked passion last season but it seems like now the whole team is on the same page and as long as they don't lose that passion it's easy to stand behind them win or lose. alex, fran, and izan were also highlights, but that's becoming their new normal now. vanat finally got another goal from a beautiful sequence that started from junior 👀 backline was mostly great but i personally didn't like boñar too much this match. asprilla has lost some of the intensity he had those two stellar matches he played but hopefully he gets some motivation during the international break. van de beek was solid in his more silent role. carles perez was a great last minute addition to the club. overall an entertaining match and despite cadiz having more possession in the second half i felt confident that we wouldn't concede again. would've been nice to score some more goals but 3 points is 3 points. ENDAVANT GIRONA ❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️

Girona1 - 2Castellón
2 goals when we were one man down but still playing attacking football is half a point towards my goats not being washed 🧏🏽 we'll be back next week, perchance. refereeing was atrocious, mostly towards girona. both of those abel yellows were a little harsh considering the ref let castellon get away with so much. like the constant grabbing onto pyschur. the team played well enough even when castellon got the 11v10 boost. it was nice to see quique still look for a goal when making the post red card subs, though i don't think pyschur added too much. i also liked their intensity in the last 20 minutes despite everyone being visibly gassed. can't believe they let a junior goal go to waste 💔 but at least i got my canya plushie (the club is donating 5 euros off of every plushie sold btw)
