mls era!!! until oomf’s tsn subscription expires had little to no stakes in this so it was a fun watch. my only connection to san jose is through hockey so i was emotionally prepared to watch a sj sports team not know how to put a round-shaped object into the back of a net and lose this dreadfully (at home mind you) s/o to caldeira from mississauga and also to the baby that wandered out onto the field
when you get a job post-wc and your day off coincides w your club playing so it’s your first time getting to watch a game of football since the wc and you think to yourself surely i will experience some joy on my day off and then
when oomf and i said we missed hockey this is not what we meant 😭😭 last wc review end of an era (the psychosis this tournament put me in..probably for the best)
