Newcastle2 - 2Liverpool
Big fan of Jassle ball. Looked devastating on the counter and nice to see Wissa+Elanga back to their best, and I’ve always been a huge fan of Osula. Really not sure about Wirtz and Isak in an Iraola team but I’m interested to see who they sign to try and maximise them
Newcastle
Fulham2 - 3Chelsea
Really really enjoyed this game. Great tempo to it and liked a lot of the ideas from both coaches. Cole palmer back in flow state was a joy to watch and that front 3 is gonna be nasty this season. Chelsea did leave a lot of gaps and looked shakey defensively but colwill coming off an ACL and no Caicedo so might not be too much to worry about. Shoutout josh king and Gonzalo Garcia too
ChelseaDerby2 - 2Cardiff
Looking like a long season if we don’t get bodies in the door. Defence poor again, CBT our biggest threat by far but as usual gassed out after about 50 minutes. Couple sublime saves from Zetterstrom and Clark 2g/a nice though
Derby
Charlton2 - 1DerbyWe are shit. Were good in 10 minute spells here and there but not enough. Campbell terrorised our defence as did leaburn when he came on
Charlton
Arsenal3 - 0Coventry
Fun to watch arsenal in flow state again. Too many gaps in cov team, 8/11 starting from last season in champ is horrible. Ellis simms crikey
